We currently offer public tours on saturdays and sundays. You can book your tickets via the online­shop. To make an appoint­ment for a private tour or an other event, please contact our team kunstvermittlung@kunstmuseum.de. The guided tours are in german.

Plan your visit to the Kunst­mu­seum Wolfsburg!

Here, you will find all the infor­ma­tion you need for your visit. To make your tour of the exhibi­tion as pleasant as possible, please note the following infor­ma­tion in advance:

To prevent damage to exhibits, we kindly ask you to leave backpacks and bags, as well as thicker jackets and coats, canes, umbrellas, and the like in the lockers in the checkroom. You may take small bags (max. size 20 x 30 x 14 cm) or those medically necessary into the exhibi­tions. In such cases, we reserve the right to inspect the bags. Excluded are medically justified walking aids as well as baby carriages and wheel­chairs. Please refer to our House Rules, which can be found here.

By car

You reach us by taking the A39 via Braun­schweiger Straße. The Kunst­mu­seum Wolfsburg is located on the south end of the Porsche­s­traße pedestrian zone next door to the Leonardo Hotel. Parking facili­ties are located on Rathaus­straße as well as in the under­ground car park directly under the Kunst­mu­seum, which you can reach via Braun­schweiger Straße. Charging points for electric cars are available there.

Note: GPS users should enter “Holler­platz 1” as the desti­na­tion for the parking facility on Rathaus­straße. You select the “Tiefga­rage Rathaus“ at Points of Interest (POIs).

By bus

Take the 201, 202, 203, 204, 211, 212, 213, 215, 216, 218, 230 bus to the Kunst­mu­seum. Bus stop: Kunstmuseum

By train

Wolfsburg is conve­ni­ently located on the train line Cologne – Hannover – Berlin and can be reached from Hannover and Berlin with the ICE. There is also a train connec­tion via Braun­schweig. The Kunst­mu­seum is located circa 20 minutes walking distance from the the train station.

By airplane

The closest airport is Hannover-Langen­hagen. The S‑Bahn Shuttle direct to the Hannover Main Station takes circa 30 minutes. From there you can take the ICE to Wolfsburg; the trip takes 34 minutes. Travel time between the airport and Hannover Main Station by taxi is about 15 minutes.
